When did Tarpeia (of the Tarpeian Rock) live?

One of my sources says the Tarpeian Rock was cleared of Sabine shrines by Lucius Tarquinius Superbus. I used this account in the novel. However, this same source says that this is the reason the Sabine king Titus Tatius attacked and took the Capitoline citadel, which means that Tarpeia betrayed Rome to the enemy sometime after Superbus became the last king of Rome.

I think Titus Tatius lived much earlier. Livy reports that Titus Tatius was a contemporary of Romulus, who attacked Rome to avenge the famous rape of the Sabine women. I choose to accept this version, which means the precipice was named after the treacherous Tarpeia since the earliest days of the city.
